Yes, she wants attention since she doesn't get much of that in real life.
She doesn't have any friends, except one or two; they don't usually do much stuff together though.
What the heck does the tooth fairy have to do with this? I can't say it's someones "fault", but her school certainly helped with making her life a pain.
