If the glass is indeed a brick, then would it be possible to be turned into a different type of brick, maybe one that looks like an elevator, or no?

Change it to 4x4 plate, 8x8 plate, and 16x16 plate?
I don't like glass. =/

With my extremely limited knowledge of modification, I think a lot would have to be added or changed to get it to look like a brick instead of using the glass texture.

If we had a model that stretched correctly (that is, has the tiling top texture and the tiling bottom texture with the correct textures round the edge) it could look like a brick. I dunno if that's even possible though, I know nothing about modelling.

This got more downloads in a few hours than my SlopeEdits got in a few months.

JVS elevators probably used a rectangular prism model.

The elevators need to obey collision.
They go right through bricks.

Okay, why did I get this when I placed the smallest elevator brick (4x4 I think) Then it crashed:
