What is better?

Milkshape
Blender

Author Topic: Milkshape or Blender  (Read 3673 times)

I got into a fight with somone, Argueing which is better, Milkshape, Or Blender.

He got all angry cause I said:
Milkshape sucks, waste of 30$.

So, which is better? I find Blender 2.5, the best.

I wouldn't recommend either, as they both suck. I only have milkshape to add any bones and export to .dts. I use hexagon for modeling and texturing.

From my experience, Milkshape 3D was more easy to pick-up and go.
Blender has some more advanced features, though I have found it to be a pain to just learn how to view the mesh.

I am still trying to learn Blender for these advanced features, but I still prefer Milkshape over it any day.
I want to try some other programs, such as hexagon, Wings 3D, and so on as well.

Neither. Go outside.

Lol it's like $150

I used to use Blender then used milkshape.

Milkshape pissed me off and i redownloaded Blender

It comes in a $30 book that also has a Carrara 6 Pro in it.

No way in hell would I pay $150 for a modeling program.

Eh? Torque 3D. It has modling features, can export as .dts, PLUS its only 999.99$

How do you put milkshapes in blenders? :o

I never modeled before in my life  :cookieMonster:

You're an idiot get out.

There isn't any "better" program, its like 3DS Max and Maya, I prefer Max while others prefer Maya, its personal preference. There's no point whining about which one is more powerful or better because majority of you wouldn't even come close to understanding how to use the majority of the features in either program.

But for Blockland MS3D beats all when it comes to exporting to the older version of Torque, has loads of control over exporting but its animation system is its only downfall.

Yeah, well, the more money you spend on something the more user-friendly it is.

I think Blender is the best 3D program that's free, and also Torque Constructore for interiors.
