Author Topic: iOS4 Help.  (Read 1018 times)

Listen.
I just downloaded ios4 to my third gen iPod touch, and I noticed the lack in multitasking, which was supposed to be in ios4. Either I'm really wrong, or I'm doing something wrong. Help?

Have you tried restoring it? I've had many problems, and restoring it has always fixed them.

I'm still on iOS3, Jailbroken, since the 2nd gen iPods won't have multitasking.

Currently using Backgrounder via Cydia/Rock and loving every second of it.

On w iPod, is that reset all settings?

there arent 2 different things to do on an apple product. that's why you are not seeing this multitasking.

*bisjac laughs at himself

Dang, that didn't work.
Also, Bisjac, go spew your stuff somewhere else.

off but not to far off topic;

the new iphone is spose to have multitasking finally except; "Multitasking is limited to audio streaming, VoIP and GPS apps"
so basically..... no, it does not have multitasking for the million things that ACTUALLY matter for a smart phone. good job apple.
fail

the 2nd gen iPods won't have multitasking.

FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU-

By restoring, I meant plug it into iTunes, and clck on the Restore button in iTunes (PC or Mac iTunes, not the iPod's iTunes.

This deletes everything on the iPod, resets everything with iOS4, and then syncs everything back. You might want to let it sync before restoring, just to be sure you don't lose anything.

define how you tested it for the lack of multitasking.
