Author Topic: Tasgall's Tower of Orthanc  (Read 5454 times)

I did not make this build, Tasgall (BL_ID 22375) did.

I only joined a server, Lord Gabbon's Bear Server, and was shocked by how good this build looked, so I asked if I could post it, and Tasgall gave me permission.

So, pictures:

This was taken from directly at the base.

This was taken from a ways away.

This is zoomed in to see how big it really is.

Taken from a higher view.

Looking down from top flat area.

Once again:
I do NOT take credit for this build. All credit goes to Tasgall, no help.

It's... interesting.

A 22k. :o

dumbass, it's Isengaurd.

That's really, really awesome. To me it just looks like the real deal.

dumbass, it's Isengaurd.

Isengard is the entire fortress, with the tower in the middle being called Orthanc.

At first I read it as 'Tower of Orthone' .. I was like, "Yay! Praise!". Slightly disappointed at reading it again but it still amazes me at how well that is built, good job Tasgall.

now do interior

huehuehueh

looks good.

When i see such high towers, my first impulse is saying duped, but this totally doesn't look like it has been duped.

Nice work.

One of the better towers I've seen in quite awhile.

It's good all around, but I definitely like the top more than the base.

The might be stolen. I saw Facechild building the base of this awhile ago.

Though, good build.

At first I thought it was the Citadel from Half Life. But then I found out it's the tower for that giant eye from The Lord of the Rings.

looks oddly symetrical

Off Topic:loled at bad grammar

On Topic: Good build and great overall quality.

Eh...
To me, not that great.
It's good but not great.

At first I thought it was the Citadel from Half Life. But then I found out it's the tower for that giant eye from The Lord of the Rings.
Actually, it's the tower at Isengard, that Saruman is in control of. You'd have seen it in The Fellowship Of The Ring, when Gandalf is trapped on top of it, and in The Two Towers, when it's being attacked by the Ents, and in The Return Of The King, at the beginning when the majority of the fellowship meet up at Isengard and Sarumans orb is found, the one that allows him to communicate with Sauron.

I must say, Wow. I love it. It's big, it's brilliant, it's dark, it looks exactly like the one from the movie. Absolutely brilliant. Well done Tasgall.
