I want a Toyota Celica for a first car.
What, are you a cigarette? That's a chick car.
My first vehicle was a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It had some standard off-road equipment like a lift kit. I still have it, but only drive occasionally as it's a fuel hog. One cold winter day a gasket on the transmission blew open and leaked fluid all over the road. We were close to home so I had to push the thing back about a quarter of a mile. A year or so later the sway bar decided to just fall off I guess. I love my Jeep; it could drive over anything. Now I drive an 08 Toyota Yaris (lol). It's easy to drive, good on fuel, easy to maintain, and handles nice. People talk stuff about my car and I backhand them. The car itself is completely non-threatening so they never see it coming.
I bet (guarantee) most of the people in this thread talking big about the fancy or old car they will get don't have or won't spend the amount of time and money required to maintain them. You don't just buy a classic car and leave it at that. There are many long term costs involved.
