Author Topic: Interesting Reflexes  (Read 3105 times)

I remember a while ago, I saw a good list of things that you do automatically (For most people) when something triggers it. Unfortunately, the only one I can remember is "Whenever someone makes a typo, you check your keyboard to see if the keys are near each other." Anyone know any other reflexes like this?

When we exhale, we inhale, then exhale, and repeat.

I flinch when a fly hovers near me.  :cookieMonster:

Please look around for that list, I'd like to see it.

That is an instinct for me.

I do this. I'll be playing and then my mind will probably drift off into thought and I stop really paying direct attention to the screen. I then remember the fact that I'm playing and notice I've got a large streak with no misses going. Oddly, this is usually when I get perfect songs and end up getting large points and full streaks.

I am terrorized  when a centipede (or any type of bug) goes near me.

Also when you are reading and not paying attention sometimes your eyes will fly over the words when you are technically not reading them.

I mutter "Scrumpadoochous" whenever I'm sleeping.  :cookieMonster:

ALL THE TIME. Reading a book, then I just drift off in thought, either something spawning from the book or an entirely different thought. Yet, my eyes continue to read the words and I'm unaware. By the time I stop thinking about something else or remember I'm reading, I find myself half way down the page and have lost where I was. Sometimes I go so far as to turn over pages or start reading a new chapter. :c
