It's ok, but also I don't know how you are going to react to the project I want the clan to work on.
I want us to have a technological race with Hewlett - Blockard to produce the first ever "working desktop environment".
For a while I have wondered if creating a computer using GUI's, code, and some sort of model was ever possible. I even tried when I was a little less experienced. But when I saw the amazing model MrCookie made for HB, I wondered it it were possible again.
I don't want this to sound like I am stealing their idea. Their's might be very different from ours. But nevertheless, no matter who makes it first, I want our clan to make different OS's for existing computers. Whether now, in the pioneering stage, or later.
I am going to need someone to model a Touchscreen, all-in-one computer; someone to create the GUI's, and some other people to code. We'll have to put a group effort into this, and also, lilboarder, I don't know if Mack will want you to help us at all if you are working on HB's, which I am fine with. It's only fair considering you were in their clan first, and they started their's first anyways.
More details will be up-coming, and also, Kyzor this is the project I need graphic designs for. Also, I don't want anyone copying, anything from HB. We need some originality and design work put into this.
Once again, Mack, [HB], I don't know if you really want [OE] to do this, but it really doesn't have to be a said "race". I'd rather no drama over this, and no bad relations between members.
More details about names, OS, programs, functions, specifics in models, and/or the project in general will be coming soon.
I just saw this now.
If you manage to build a fully working OS in Blockland I would be willing to congratulate you and use your OS for our PC's being built at HB. But, under the circumstances for the theme, I would probably modify the GUI to suit HB's colors and theme.
I could care less who builds it first, but if you end up not building one I will have to work on one myself. :)
EDIT:
The only thing I would really rather you NOT do is build an HP-Style computer. At least make it in your own styling with your own logos, because at the moment most of the computer build by HP are already being reconstructed and remodelled by, you guessed it, us.
Again, if you build a working OS I would prefer if you build it in your own theme, OE.
AnotherEDIT:
Bell might be using your OS as well if you build it.
Just consider yourself like Microsoft; build an OE PC. Leave the HBness and Dell stuff to us.
