The super handicapped security of windows won't work if you keep hitting ALLOW on everything that pops up.



my mom had a virus to were it installed research on it and she got all freaked out because she thought it was me who downloaded it :l i was pretty embarrassed by that......

Now it keeps installing research on my desktop, I'll just wait for my Dad to take care of it. He's worked with computers all his life.

Discuss you're encounters with these viruses.

Also, can it spread to other Windows 7 accounts?

I got it once.

I risked losing my computer, and restarted, then lagged my computer, then managed to open Malware bytes, then it was fixed, and what a relief. I've encountered this twice, and I refuse to let this computer crash.

no antivirus? really?

Once you get your virus problem taken care of, put at least AVG on your computer. AVG has a free antivirus program that you can use more or less for life.

The only time I've been infected with a virus was when I intentionally ran them in a virtual machine.

Btw, a T-virus won't get you an excuse for having a Trojan...

I had some adware before that kept popping up research, it was really awkward with my mom and whatnot...

It was freaky ass research too, not just like soft stuff I'm talking power tools man.
