Got myself a Trojan virus

avast is ununinstallable.

No it isn't. It's just a pain, you have to install a certain file, run it, and reboot.

go to a lil older norton. like norton security suite. 360 is a lil new.

   1. Download aswClear5.exe on your desktop
   2. Start Windows in Safe Mode
   3. Open (execute) the uninstall utility
   4. If you installed avast! in a different folder than the default, browse for it. (Note: Be careful! The content of any folder you choose will be deleted!)
   5. Click REMOVE
   6. Restart your computer

later, my dad put some anty-virus stuff on my pc, and found a virus called, trojan horse, my dad saw it and I was scared to death thinking of that horse game. i didn't know what a trojan horse was.

Last time I got a virus...I was 12 - 13. Now I'm 16. I haven't had a Virus/AV since then.

Trojans are pretty annoying.

Try downloading Avast, if It fails try Malware Bytes Anti Malware.

Those are one of the best Trojans Removers, If those fails there's still Spyware Terminator, I think you could use it.

I keep getting alt tabed out of games because my anti virus thing wants to tell me stuff like: "Its done installing!" after a week....
I took a vacation to Michigan for 4th of July, i came back and it said in the tool bar:

"59 virus found"


Is that a lot?

I have norton360 2010 and it hasn't given me any problems and it stops every virus I run into.
