Oasis, no, I WANT to mow lawns...I'm too shy. :c
It's rude to say, but grow a pair and just suck it up.
Believe me, there will be more embarrassing moments in life than this where shyness will greatly hold you back.
All it takes is a little walk to their door, knock on it and politely ask if they have any little odd-jobs that you could do for them. Ask them if they'd like their grass cut or their car washed or their dog taken for a walk.

You don't have to ask for money or say that it'll cost you this. They'll pay you afterwards since that's the normal thing. Even if that particular neighbour doesn't pay you in money, you're pretty much definitely going to get some sort of reward, which is always nice to be rewarded for doing some work.

Sir, you don't understand. My neighbourhood has careless parents. They let their children stay outside ALL DAY ( which they stay outside ALL DAY ) and don't come in until dinner/food/thirsty/bed. They don't care, man. The only 2 people who care in this neighbourhood, are the 2 houses beside us. 1 house on the right of us, and the house on the left of us. The one on the right, is Rudy. He plays in The Drifters, or used to, and he is REAL nice. Micheal, their house, they don't do stuff, they do it themselves. :c

Sinful! They make there kids play outside and don't let them come in unless they want to! D:

But seriously, if anything, it shows they do care.

Your mother and/or father most likely works hard to give you what you need and a bit of what you want. Try to be outgoing, try asking to get oddjobs. You'll never know if you can get them if you don't, at the very least, try. What is truly the worst that can happen, dear? They say no? I know it can be hard sometimes to be outgoing, but in life shyness can hold you back tremendously. Those around you make up much of what you are. Without them, you would not be. Become comfortable with what you are, and become comfortable of what others are as well.

I need your advice. I can't come up and say things to people, I mean, I don't know what to say.

Walk up to them, say hello, and ask them if there is anything that needs doing around there property, as your willing to work. Don't ask for money, however. If they say yes, do that which they ask to the best of your ability. They most likely will pay you for your kind services. If they decline, say thank you anyway, and be off. At least then they will know you are available and at least then you would have met a new person.

Above all, do it with a smile. Be kind. Do not do it solely for the money, however. Try to do it to become more of an extrovert as well. Do it out of the kindness of your heart. Remember: Money is not everything. There are no luggage compartments in a coffin. c:

Money isn't everything, but it is needed to survive. Also, good advice, listen to Magick.

It is not needed to survive. The economy is not needed to survive. Food is needed. Water is needed. Shelter is needed. Love is needed. Economics was created by man, and we have been deceived into thinking it is necessary to survive. It is only seen as a need because man makes it out to be that way.

But that's just my opinion. Then again, I'm poor. What would I know? :cookieMonster:

I still can't see how you can be a guy and talk like that o: Mage
