all he`s doing is stating his opinion with a larger vocabulary than most. being a grammar national socialist isn`t really being pompous
Let's simplify this for some of you not familiar with what's been called "larger vocabulary". Maybe you'll see what we meant.
Review:
1. When you use a word it's generally assumed you know the meaning of the word (that much is very clear, also obvious)
2. When you use a word that doesn't fit with the rest of the statement, that raises a giant question mark
a. Where's the meaning of the word coming from?
1. The person using the word most likely doesn't know the true meaning to the word
I don't know how the rest of you hold your standards to but it's pretty much a fallacy of logic to claim people are of a lesser intelligence because they don't understand your statements. You could easily express an opinion rather than try and contrive a "deeper" meaning out of what you are trying to say from "larger words"
Otherwise anyone that knows the definitions to the words being used improperly is saying, "wat".
Grammar national socialistng on the other hand is quite different, since it focuses on
GRAMMAR. I hope this helps.
