I really don't know how to reply to this. This game depends on the combination of skill as well as progressions through armor and weapons, and then all those subfactors of skill like tactic and preparation. Of course it would be easy for you, but not for me, due to lack of high damage weapons.

...? Are your quests in a different order than mine? I've killed Lagiacrus once, and the last monster I remember seeing was an Unkotl thingy in the powderstones quest, but I never had to fight it. The last thing I captured was a Rathian and the last thing I killed was either Gigginox or Lagiacrus.
