Author Topic: What a fail... [I need help]  (Read 2269 times)

My little brother who recently got a netbook just bought Fallout 3 CD for it with the add ons pack. Too bad his netbook doesn't have a CD input and he can't return the CD.

why cant he return it?
it wont run on it anyway

Send it to me, I uninstalled Fallout 3 because I broke it and I don't want to wait for it to install again. Plus DLC!

Actually it meets the requirements so yes it can run it.

I'll think about it. PM your address

Make an ISO on another computer, put it on a flash drive, transfer it to the netbook, mount with Daemon tools, install.

Lost my flashdrive :(

I was joking :U

Same lol

Does anybody know a solution to this? It would be very helpful.

Buy one.

Buy one.

I tried with an old flash drive of mine. It doesn't work because it says it needs the original disk. I need to solve this problem within an hour since I gotta go to the airport soon.

I think you did this, but don't want to look stupid, so you said your brother did it.
Other wise, you wouldn't care so much.

No I didn't honest, but I want something to do on the plane. I don't get how it would make me look stupid either.

Get an external hard drive cause they are common (althought expensive)
put your stuff on there and then transfer
Most USB keys that you buy can't fit more than 4 GB
and I believe Fallout 3 is around 5GB without DLC and probably 7-8 with DLC
TLDR; forget flashdrives

I believe this is a double fail. Considering netbooks don't have CD drives. And they also cannot run Fallout 3, or any other computer game for that matter.
