Author Topic: Writin' a book  (Read 5454 times)

Basically, it's about some mutants who were created by an obscure but huge corporation and go battle the evil head of the corporation.boring, i know, but it gets better

Characters:

Silversword: main character, can manipulate energy
Angel: wings, nuff' said
Cyborg: can create machines from his body
Pilot: gifted with vehicle sense
Evil CEO: need name, can maniplate shadow

Any help would be appreciated

This story needs a bit more detailed bio of the characters.  I also need a more detailed description on this.  You can't just pop up out of no where and say "Hey guys, Ima make a book".

My questions are:
Are you inspired enough to make this?
Will you have time?
Would you give any effort into this?
Whats the length of the book?

I wish you best of luck on this book, I just don't want it to be like an everyday post-apacolyptic, zombie peice of stuff.

Derp, magic powers and terribly cliche names.

Xmen !
Similar, but no
maximum ride
Same.

Just because it is in the catagory of mutants, doesn't mean its a copy of every mutant related book.

yes but maximum ride was essentially some mutants created by some obscure corporation who then go and try to beat up the same

Maximum Ride was already written.

@Rok
Trust me, it sounds exactly like Maximum Ride

edit: Something I noticed here. When one or two people start a thread, aka Me and Caution wanting to write or those livestream things, every god damn person on this forum instantly flocks into the same idea.

Do something original dammit.

You should feel proud of yourself.  You inspired people  :cookieMonster:

Stop copying me, Nick.
That was two weeks before I decided to post about mine.

But I don't want him, most likely, awfully rewriting a good book.

He may be practicing and if he fails miserably, flame him for what a bad job he did.

I personally think practicing alone helps alot, but learning from other people could help too.

But you can't practice on a plot of a book that has already been written. For all we know, he could be typing the first chapter right now, word for word. His profile says he is 10. When I was a little kid every time I saw or read something neat it always inspired me to make something that was exactly like it.

Don't deny being a copycat, Nick.

Kk, I'm a copycat. If being a copycat is having the idea of writing a book about zombies for about a year, even if it isn't about the same thing as your's Draco. I am a huge copycat.
