Author Topic: Summer Reading (goddamnit)  (Read 3311 times)

the blockland forums are not the place for you, your young and should not see the things revealed within these pages

also, the librarian picks nine books, we read six during the year and three during the summer
Looks to me like you're too young as well.
Don't be a hypocrite.

Jesus Christ.

Just read the books, jeez.

At least reading takes even less effort than texting or typing. If all you do is complain about your schoolwork instead of doing it, how are you ever going to be taken seriously?

English Honors?
I have to do that too. -_-
Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak
My sister and all my friends have to do that too.

Lol, summer reading.

I've never had to do that stuff. And even if I did I probably still wouldn't. Summer isn't the place for schoolwork.

I don't have required reading but I do want to read Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy again this summer

This.

Flowers for Algernon

EDIT: Only I wasn't assigned this, I wanted to read it.

I'm going into 10th and I still haven't been required to read a book over the summer yet.

I have to do a long ass writing assignment to for my honors lit class..

I wouldn't have to do summer reading if I wasn't going into the I.B. program at my high school next year. I have to read:
1. A Streetcar Named Desire
2. The Lemon Tree
3. The Great Gatsby
and complete three packets of work. Math, Biology, and History. Luckily I've already done the packets, the reading's the easy part.

IB? Is that the equivalent of AP classes?
