I found my iPod touch but now it's locked

I can't remember the pass code. I tired a few times and then it disabled it and said connect to iTunes, but when I try that, it says it cannot connect because it's locked. What do I do :c

Also, just leave it a while. You dont need to connect to iTunes. Happened to my cousin's iPod. He just left it a few minutes

Apparently the only way to get rid of it is to restore my iPod which makes it loose all it's data. asdf...

it's 4 digits, keep trying codes until you get it. 1111 1112 1113 1114 1115 1116 1117 1118 1119 etc. It's a very efficient way of hacking, ie wheatly

If you really want to unlock your iPod, you'll have to go number by number. 0000, 0001, 0002, 0003, etc. until you get to 9999. I would suggest just restoring it as itunes would have backed up some of your stuff.
