Its amazing how fast a day can go from great to complete stuff in a matter of seconds from one mistake.

Today at about 1:30 I was driving to a friends. I went to pull out of a parking lot onto a known busy road. Some dumbass driver managed to park his car right next to the road to pull out. This created a nice blind spot for everyone pulling out. I waited for a good amount of time, did my best to check if it was clear and pulled out. Upon pulling out I ended up staring directly at a speeding car about 2 feet away from my car. It was an extremely hard collision. The other driver attempted to swerve but couldn't. He clipped my front end and it sent him up on 2 wheels. The impact was so hard the other driver back windshield flew out of it socket, slid across the road, and smashed on the curb.

The other drivers car was confirmed totaled on the spot. I did not get a picture but both doors on the side were completely punched in. We are getting an estimate for my car tomorrow. My car was driveable but when you drive it you can smell the engine heating up. My passenger side door is also stuck closed.

Nobody was really hurt on scene, just shook up. But now that I am sitting here I am beginning to feel neck and head pains which are starting to worry me a bit. I personally blame the entire thing on the driver who parked next to that entrance. Everyone agreed, including the cop, that you should not be able to park there. And once that the driver heard the police were coming he moved his car. starfish.

Now that everything has calmed down a col reality has set in for me. If the other driver would not have swerved they would have hit my driver side door going about 50 mph. I could be in the hospital right now or worse.

On Scene:

(Take a look at the silver van near the upper-middle of the picture, that is the loving idiot who parked like a moron.)

Ohmy. D:

Well the important thing, Destroyer, is that everyone was safe and is well. You can replace a car, not a life. Be thankful that worse hadn't taken place. And also, good luck on getting all of this settled out and your car fixed up. Just try to stay positive and look upon the silver lining. As for your neck, see a chiropractor or someone, make sure nothing serious happened. I'm sure you'll be alright, though.

It's Pennsylvania, what do you expect?

I was in a car crash once and the insurance gave me $200 to spend on a doctor's visit, but I decided to buy a Wii with it instead. Worse decision ever

I should have spent it on a goddamn 360

Lol'd.

Also, post his license plate so if we see him/her we can call them a noob. ;D

Poor dest and all these accidents he has been having.

Well I guess the fixing the dent your friends ass put on your hood turned out to be a bit redundant.

I should link my brother to this topic, because he just got his driver's permit :o

Lol'd.
I'm serious

Well, be glad you're alive. :D

Should've beat up the starfish with the silver van.
Anyways, atleast your car didn't asplode or something. And hopefully you don't have internal bleeding or something

When I get a car, I'mma get one of those Ford station wagons, the one my family had was practically indestructible.
My dad hit a guy who was pulling out of a parking lot. The guy didn't bother looking, and the ford plowed into him. His car was totaled, and there was hardly a dent on the station wagon. They're like freaking bulldozers

I'm glad you're alright, Dest.

They're like freaking bulldozers
"I'll make sure I'm safe so that whatever I hit is destroyed"

Well, be glad you're still alive. :D
and he's not even angry.
