Author Topic: Car Accident  (Read 15562 times)

70-80 mph collisions usually look like sheet metal confetti with the occasional parts of the car still attached. If you're in an accident like that you're getting nailed with some serious G's and tons of extra negative G's.

There's a bend on 290 in MA that seems to claim a few motorcyclists every year, three months ago I drove by and there was a motorcycle strewn across the highway for a good half mile.

Visage, you were not in the car. You have no idea of this road. Yes I did wait awhile until I saw the road was clear. The car that hit me turned onto this road from another side road which from the angle I was at you are incapable of seeinng. I have pulled out of this area many times, I always do it fine, except this one. Both my car and the other drivers car were very low to the ground, making it extremely difficult to see over the much bigger van. So unless you know everything I knew about the accident keep your damn month shut.

K I'll keep my month shut, just saying the accident was completely your fault, and I am sure the law will agree. They aren't gonna go charging a guy for legally parking his car albeit in a bad spot.

enough trolling for today  :cookieMonster:

Thank you Baddy. Lol.

freakin bitch hit our car at full speed (70-80 mph) while we were stopped at the freeway...
our airbags didn't go off so my dad slammed his head on the steering wheel, breaking his nose and messing up his face/back... and god i'm lucky all i may have gotten was a small concussion...
Don't you just love getting hit in public places? You know, so everyone passing can just slow down and stare at you for a couple seconds?

I agree, legally it was my fault. You are right their. The thing is, the cop on scene did not charge me with it nor did my insurance company.  :cookieMonster:

Well I just got the rough estimate today. With only glancing at it, 3 different body shop mechanics think it will cost roughly $1,500.

I've never been in any accident's before, I consider myself very lucky.

That's good. Once you're in one you never forget. I hope you never have to experience this.

D'aww everyone seems happy that you're alright.
Well I wish you died friend.

No not really. <3

I should draw a picture of Destroyer ramming his car with a grin on his face.

I was only in one accident(I can't drive yet, I was with my parents), anyways like 5 years+ ago, we were driving out of Walmart or some store like that, and they had a light, so the pickup in front of us stops and we stop behind him. Then out of loving no where he starts backing up going 20mph at least, I mean he had to have had the gas peddle on the loving floor, so anyways, he bashes into us and messes up the front of our car, then he has the loving stupidity to say we hit him. All I heard was my dad cussing the guy out, with the windows closed xD. He looked as if he was going to punch his face is for lying.

Reminds me of an encounter with a rogue truck topper while I was driving special needs children. Came right off the back of a truck in the opposing lane and disintegrated right on the company van's front.  Here's some pretty pics. I'm lucky that thing was fiberglass or it would have gone right through the windshield Final Destination style.

i was once in the car with my parents on the highway
there were these two trucks dropping rubble from their cabs.
it was literally flying everywhere.
my dad dodged the stuff while my mom called the cops on them

When I was 17, a car going the opposite direction turned right in front of me and I zero time to react so I smashed into it at 35mph without ever hitting the brakes.  I tweaked my thumb and bumped my knee but was basically uninjured.  I didn't hit the steering wheel because I was driving a entrepreneur  70s car where you sit a mile away from it.

Thank God you weren't killed. Otherwise you could not have made Blockland... or these forums.

from looking at it for a first, he hasnt done alot of mechanical dammage to your car, might have split a cable or too,
but all you might have to do is replace the indicator, fix one or too cables, get a new bonnet, and a new front bumper.
but soo far it looks ok.

small price to pay, considering you got hit by a car and came out ok.

the idiot in a Jeep came up behind dead fast in the right hand lane, and swerved over to the left to pass the other person, the other person went into the left lane to let the idiot pass, the idiot swerved into the left hand lane and hit  the guys car, the , guy went off to the left , the idiot span of to the right, hit the barrier and continued to spin on 2 wheels.
at the time I was standing up in the caravan and almost fell over, it was a van conversion, luckily my dad missed the 2 morons and stopped, we were all OK, and the idiots car was totalled, we checked they were ok and continued to drive.
That scared me.

Another occasion was(This is shorter) when i walked out of the petrol station(in Spain, Age:12), and just as i was about to step out of the door a seat zoomed past at at least 20 miles per hour, this was inside the petrol station, who stopped and sped off screeching the tires, i was paralysed with fear, one more second and id have been hit.

THE END
