Author Topic: Schools seems to underestimate pupils.  (Read 1964 times)

I'm pretty sure they are these days.
For years, one of the only computers i go to in a room to do coursework, IE's History.dat file corrupted, and windows refuses to log me in because of it, i know the solution by deleting the file manually via safe mode [Well, that's what i know, anyway, what else are we supposed to do? push it somewhere else?], i try and do it, but now i got caught by a teacher saying that i'm stupid for trying to go on safe mode, he says i "don't know what i'm doing" and he alerts the technician, who is a script kiddie and was the person who banned me for a week from computers for "hacking", and now my account has been disabled at school for two week, and now he's still telling me that only the technician can do it, since i "don't know enough"
This is bullstuff, honestly, i'm taking lots of computer related classes, and he still thinks i'm one of those people at my school who try and go on facebook desperately by deleting random files.

Am i the only one with this problem?

You should just screw it up more and make them suffer.

It's school, you normally report it to the teacher, not fix it yourself expecting to get in trouble.

Don't say I'm stupid, normally it's the goddamn rules. Follow them. And I'm not trying to be mean, just do what you are told.

Haha, I remember I entered some simple code in command prompt, and I got in serious trouble. I was perma&'d from using all of the computers. I told them they were, quote "A bunch of dim witted douchebags" and got suspended for three days. Aah, I love school.

Actually do something harmful since they'll give you the same punishment anyway.

I understand, but the thing is, they think i don't know what i'm doing at all, as the title says, they sometimes underestimate people.
I usually obey all rules of the school, i don't do violence much either, as i'm quite weak.
But this is one of the few times i have.

I wish i could, but that would end up with something worse.

Isnt it summer?
No, it's November.

Well, I'd say that's probably true in all schools, but then, when we had a computer broken in our study hall (the band room, lul), one of those god awful thin clients that are always loving up because we have over 200 computers trying to run everything off of the same server in the office. Anyway, so this thing is set in the bios to not even run the operating system from the network, we go in to fix that, and then the thing just stops doing anything at all. Fed up with it, and fed up with why the school sucks at their computer maintenance, we decide to just install a small version of Linux on the thing. It would have worked too, had the school year not have ended. We'll try again next year.

Ask for permission first, most teachers are handicaps so it's a bad idea to do it without permission.
Or play "ogm i handicap do it for me techerman"
