If you were left unpunished, the limp-wristed IT technician's job would be in danger, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like to have your money taken away because a kid can do the stuff you're being payed to do.

Am i the only one with this problem?
Nope, the computer teacher in my school tries to do everything himself and never accepts help from me or the other computer peoples, and it would be something really basic too.

I understand, but who thought this was a good idea for people who know what they are doing?
I don't mind the rule being done for younger people, but older?

We only have one technician, and he's slow at getting to classrooms to fix computers.
He looks like a middle east gabe newell.

Your not the only one whos had this problem, my computer teacher went batstuff when I made an annoying command box pop up using only notepad.

"YOU HACKER YOUR BANNED FROM THE COMPUTER!"

"Its computer class, what am I supposed to do?"

"AScigaretteEWA *angry gibberish"

And then I get worksheets for being tech savy.

Haha.

It's school, you normally report it to the teacher, not fix it yourself expecting to get in trouble.

Don't say I'm stupid, normally it's the goddamn rules. Follow them. And I'm not trying to be mean, just do what you are told.
This.

I've never had this problem. My teachers are split in two. You either have the ones who defintely oboe their computers and are capable of fixing anything that comes up, and there are the new who are hopeless at using the computer. Fortuantely, the latter are quite
fine with you offering help or doing stuff yourself. If you actually were playing around with something that you shouldn't have been, they probably wouldn't be able tonspot that it's not allowed.
Normally though, the schools computer technicians only ever are called out when the teachers have a problem, which generally tends to be something stupid, such as not knowing why sound isn't working when they've got the speakers turned off.

If I ever need to do anything fancy on a school computer, I just run linux off of my flash drive. its portable and not suspicious when plugged in since its a req item to have anyway.
