I don't know if you all have heard the latest bullstuff from Bullstuff Providers-- I mean, British Petroleum, but if you haven't, you're about to find out.
So apparently, BP being a multinational corporation, believes that federal law entitles them to deduct payment from any person whose life they've ruined with their mess in any future settlements. In other words, if BP says to a fisherman in the gulf who's just had his life decimated by BP's disaster, "If you help us clean up, we'll pay you," and the fisherman refuses (for whatever reason), BP can now take away as much money from him as they would have made from him helping them clean up. It's rubbing salt in the wound, it's complete bullstuff, and this government needs to get off their asses and stand the forget up to Tony Hayward and make him pay in full for the crCIA he and his company have created.
