Author Topic: SHS Hyperion - Transportation Deck (Image Heavy!)  (Read 4826 times)

The SHS Hyperion is a massive ship that I am currently building. What you see here is both the Transportation Deck and the Humanities Deck, though the interior pictures are only of the Transportation Deck. The Humanities Deck is included so that you can see the upgrades I have made to the hull. Enjoy.
PLEASE DON’T IGNORE THE TEXT ABOVE THE IMAGES! IT IS PLACED THEIR FOR YOUR BENEFIT!
Also, please forgive my shadow being in any of the pictures.

The Exterior

I added a top to the Humanities Deck. Here's what it looks like. The same is on the bottom.

The Main Hangar

The Hangar Control Booth. Snack and Drink machines are placed for crew convenience.

The Flight Preparation Bay. Sort of like an airport terminal, this is where crew members wait for arriving shuttles.

One of the two Communication Booths. They make sure the Hyperion is up to date with the activities of other ships.

The ship’s Main Atrium. This is where people come when they first board the ship.

One of the two Gun Ports

Executive Suite Hallway. Every door (except the one in the center) leads to a suite where important visitors would stay.

One of the eight Executive Suites. All are the same.

Door locations (left to right): Executive hallway, bathroom, bedroom.

Executive Suite Bathroom

Executive Suite Bedroom

Executive Business Hall

Escape Pods (There real Hyperion would have more but they wouldn’t fit xD)
Interior View

Exterior View

Launch Tubes

Executive Conference Room (forgive the holes in the table, I’m still waiting for inverse curve bricks to come out)

Executive Dining Hall (Notice there are ten chairs but only eight suites; this is so the Captain/First Officer can dine with the guests)

Executive Kitchen

Executive Recreation Hall (door on left leads to lounge, door on right leads to health/fitness area)

Executive Lounge

Executive Health/Fitness Area (forgive its emptiness)

The Sauna

Last but not least, my overall plan for this ship. The yellow area is what you’ve seen in this topic.

Well, that’s all for now folks! Coming up next, the Military Deck and Hangar Entrance Ramp! :D See you next time!

PS I greatly appreciate all comments and constructive criticism!

Amazing. Simply amazing. I saw the ship plans and if you go through with finishing this entire ship it will certainly go down as one of the best builds in Blockland.

Good luck with the rest of the sections.

When I saw this, first thing that ran through my mind was: O sht.

Anyone reminded of Star Wars?

I've waitied months for you to finish this. And now I'm jizzing uncontrollably at this sneak peak. Imagine what'll happen when you're done...

This is excellent! I like how you added more exterior detail.

I just hope that with the size of just the last 2 sections, the completed ship won't be too much for the average computer to take, because I really want to see this in its full completion.

Thank you very much! And just so you know, I have set the brick limit in my server to five million. I will complete the Hyperion even if I have to build with 1 FPS.

Lol. Truthfully, I just delete and then reload the other decks so it doesn't lag while i'm building it.

o........m................... ............................. ......g! Thats incredible. I cant wait to see it in full completion.

Ninja edit: Are you going to be releasing it to the public (a.k.a) us?

Ewww props

I thought the props were used pretty well in this.

Ewww props

I love how you completely ignored the entire ship just so you could point out the fact that I used 2 of the prop bricks. See, the thing is, I only used the fork and knife and the plate, bricks which you can't do with non-props. If I had used the prop TVs or something, I would agree with you. If you have a better method of making a fork and knife that doesn't look like total stuff, I would be happy to hear it.

Plate - Round 2x2 flat
Silverware - ?

Still, props cause a lot of console errors. It would be best if you just got rid of them. Nice build though.
