When I tried reading Neuromancer, I had no idea what the forget was going on 90% of the time, and switched to reading:

I found Snow Crash to be much more comprehensible, up-to-date, and funny.

I couldn't put Jurassic Park down for two days. I literally ditched Blockland, and read it from cover to cover, only stopping to eat. And then I bought the sequel. OH stuff.
