Prickly pear fruits.

Epic little cactus fruits these are.

They're sweet and sour at the same time, and they make great nibble food and ice cream toppings.

For those who dont know, prickly pears come from the prickly pear cactus, and luckily for me, they're ALL OVER junction, and they're just starting to grow.

For those who have tasted this epic little treat, you will agree, that even if they arent cleaned well, and you still get a couple thorns in your mouth, its worth it.

WARNING: Even though the prickles are small, they hurt like a bitch, and are half impossible to pull out. Be warned :3

Get a lighter and just hold the fruit above the lighter to burn the spines off.

Just be sure you either burn off all the spine pockets, or just cut them with a knife.
