Author Topic: If you loose Blockland Can you back it up???  (Read 1475 times)

My dad said he would buy me Blockland if I could figure out if you could recover your full version of blockland. Example: copying it onto a flash drive or burning it on a disc. Thanks, I appreciate any answer that comes through (except trolls). :panda:

You write your key down on a bit of paper.

It's not a file
Just type in the e-mail adress that you used when you bought it in here and you get it send to your email when you loose the key.

Yes you can do many things- (I assume you're refering to your key?)

1. It's sent to your email, you can save it there
2. You can save it in a word document on a flash drive or on your computer
3. Write it down on a piece of paper
4. For any reason you lose it you can get it re sent to the registered email here

what about if you put it on a blockland file and never took it off and the blockland file now doesn't open so you reinstall blockland and you cant enter your key because it's already in "use"?

I would suggest copying you're key.dat file to a removable drive. Such as a CD, Flashdrive, or a SD Card.
If you use the SD Card; Keep it in you're camera so you always know where it is :I

Multiple copies of Blockland can share a key. You just can't have two on an internet game sharing the same key.

I dont mean the key I mean the file with blockland in it. My dad wants to know if you can retrieve your add-ons and builds if the computer crashes. Thanks again

Save the Add-Ons folder to a flash disk. Then when you reinstsll Blockland and want your add-ons back, you just need to overwrite it, then you get all your add-ons, maps etc. back

No, not really, I suggest you back-up your blockland folder from time to time.

can you share a key at the same time
Only if the person has the same name and has the same IP address(i.e: the same house)

1) You don't need to be able to keep all your add-on because they will always be downloadable off either RTB or the forums.
2) For the saves, do this...

1. Locate your blockland folder
2. In there, there will be another folder called saves.
3. Copy that on a disc/SD card
4. That is now a back up of all the builds you have built before you copied it onto the disc/SD Card. Do this once a month to be safe.

it says my key is invalid
