I don't understand what you mean.
Does something particular in there give you that impression, or does the entire thing give you that impression?

None of the above. He's just another christcigarette that thinks you need to follow some idiotic cult to be happy.

They HAD to have taken that servey incorrectly, because there are a stuffon more jews that that.
Its one of the worlds largest religions.

I'm muslim.
lol
Also, no I don't. It's just Atheists and such have nothing to believe in, so I'm inferring that some might be depressed, etc.

Fixed for ya.

You claim to not want to start any conflict, and then you go do this.
I think this is why most non-religious people are depressed, sad, or emo.

Lock this topic before it gets out of hand.

please lock this, its derailing off the troll tracks

Oh. That's pretty stupid. How can anyone even conceive the thought that not following a religion or following a religion can make you sad or happy?
Do these sort of people not see things like Births as happy occasions? Because I'm pretty sure that if a Christian has a baby, they're happy same as an atheist who has a baby.
I think it's one of those "scare-tactics" employed to be used on children in order to keep their faith through fear. Like "If you don't go to church or follow Jesus, you'll have a miserable sad life" or "If you don't go to church, you'll end up in Hell".

It's all scare-tactics. It never actually gives a person a chance to think for themselves, which is pretty pointless when God is supposed to have given people freewill and those people are then suppressing that ability.

Sorry, didn't see above post. The same must go then for those who are brought up with Islam. Or possibly even Judaism or Sikhism. Or any religion I guess. I wouldn't doubt that there are at least large numbers in each different religion who try to force their religion upon people, even their own people in very same ways.

And that is why religion is dumb.

I didn't mean to say it like that, I meant to say I THINK. And I'm sorry if it offended you, it's just something I thought happens.

You think that if somebody does not believe in some book of desert fairy tales that they will be depressed?

If jesus is co cool, why couldn't he get in the club?

Most of my cousins are Christians and they seem just as happy as me.

Only stupid people think that having a Religion or not affects emotional state.

Don't worry, I take no offence.
Essentially, since I have no religion, I have no belief that I have to defend or feel offended by if questioned. I know that doesn't always happen with those with religions (don't want to stereotype) but it does happen at a reasonable frequency.
On the same note, in any topic of this sort, whether it's about religion, politics, loveuality or whatever, I never mean to offend. Just to understand other people's views as well as express my own.

Religion wars are loving stupid and I hate anyone who gets involved. There's other stuff to do.

And you're not going to make a difference at all whining on a forum.

Can you atleast respect people's religions? I don't want this topic to turn into a religion war. Edit: I think it's too late. :P

I'm just curious, that's all.

I'm sorry I was thinking that.
