Are either of them good for gaming at all?

No, and no.

First, they're from Wal-mart. Get it off Newegg.
Second, they both have low-end processors, and low-end graphics cards.

If you want a good gaming laptop, look around on Newegg, like I said. You won't find any gaming laptops on Walmart.

I would never buy a Laptop for gaming, you would keep having to buy another within a few years to keep up.

My laptop is pretty good.
Can run HL2E2 on max settings and still get above 60fps.
Game Production school is hard, but you get really nice stuff I do say.

How about any of these?

You're gonna need to spend more than $400 if you want to do gaming on a laptop.

Overpriced. At that point you are just paying for the name. (Kinda like holister or ambercrombie)

You could run CS:S and Half Life, and maybe Modern Warfare 2 at lower settings.

How about this?

Edit
I revealed your illusion!

Well, my definition of a good laptop is Windows 7, a numpad, and a disc drive.
