What does the 'Desktop >>" do? Also doesn't having the icons on the bar big annoy you? I always have at least 2 steam windows open, and I have stuff pinned too.

The Desktop >> button will let me have access to my desktop without moving or minimizing windows, and no, i've gotten so used to that from using XP then Vista that i just can't have it any other way

I'm not sure why it matters whether it's transparent or not, but it is actually transparent, but it's just not noticeable with the background i have, same thing with the Vista taskbar, it's transparent, but the background makes it hard to notice
