Author Topic: SVN Help?  (Read 2226 times)

Hey, I'm trying to install NeuroPlanes for Garry's Mod. On the FacePunch topic about it, it gives me these two links. Yes, I have TortoiseSVN. No, I don't have any idea what to do with the links. Thanks for help.

http://hawxmod.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/hawxaddon

Make file in addons

Right click the folder

SVN checkout

Put in the adress

???

Profit!

I don't see SVN anything when I right click.

Not installed right or you need this one program to make it work. (Chek the tourtise scn things website it should tell you there....)

Did you restart after installing tortoise svn?

i think you have to.

There should be something that says SVN checkout with tortoise.

Don't tell me what program or anything.
@OneWithFire: Yeah, I restarted. I'm trying a reinstall now.
EDIT: Just reinstalled and chose "repair." I rebooted. I got nothing.

This is what should be in the right click menu.

Nope. I have the TortoiseSVN program, but nothing in right click.
Edit: I have 3 programs when I do a computer search for Tortoise.
  • TortoiseSVN
  • TortoiseIDiff
  • TortoiseMerge

2nd page bump.
Yeah, I know. Top of the second page. Don't really care, I'd like help. Their FAQ on the site is way too complicated. And it's only for starting/making your own SVN-Whatever.

I read too fast.

Revised question: What version of windows are you using?

I use gmod for mac but run it through bootcamp so technically that makes me a PC. But Tortoise SVN is for mac, but that isn't very revelant.

Anyway, you either installed the wrong version (32 bit or 64 bit) or it installed incorrectly and didn't work right.
