hi if you know what i mean i mean when you open control panel then network and Internet then view network and devices it will say your computers name i do not what that so is there a way to turn that off as in hidden i tried this in the command prompt as admin

net config server /hidden:yesthen restarted but i was still there this is so my mum can not see me when I'm on my laptop
also i am useing windows 7

ehh, I don't think you're supposed to be able to, as it could result in much slimy activity

You can go to prison for 2 years for stealing someones internet service. And there is no 100% secure way to hide on someone's network because you use up bandwidth.

Just as you can't really hide yourself because you generate CO₂ and create a hole in the air with your innards. You also just plain take space. Basically, it's impossible to totally hide yourself.
