No, it's not. That rule is under Rule #5: "Do not plea for sympathy". He is not pleading for sympathy, he is simply informing us that he'll be gone.

He's pleaing for sympathy. If he wanted people to know he was going to be away for the summer he would have said so in his profile. He's going to get banned.
