Today, someone from the losing team began to complain about lag in l4d2 when he had 30-40 ping. I then responded by saying, "44 ping is lag?" He then explained to me what "jitters" is. Not going by his word, I googled it. It's basicly some delay between the stream of packets which is caused by "Router Changes" and "Network Congestions". Neither which were present. I really doubt 8 players would be network congestion and it was an official dedicated server so I'm pretty sure Valve wouldn't be playing with their router settings. Could the server actually be experiencing network jitters or is he just making up an excuse?

Excuses as always, but then again Valve has a tendency to forget up there network on there games. TF2 has a 1 second delay now, not because of lag or ping, its just 1 second delay between players.

One person with a low ping will not make everything laggy. And 44 ping isn't bad.
