People think it sucks because they think they can run into the middle of a battle like in MW2.

I'm all for realism, but at the end of the day unrealistic shooters are way more fun than a realistic shooter where you get shot two or three times and you're dead. Ultimately, you can't expect to have a forgetton of fun when you're playing a game that aims for realism and immersion.
