Microsoft Small Basic is a simplified variant of the BASIC programming language introduced by Microsoft in October 2008. With a bare minimum of concepts, Microsoft touts this as an easy programming language for beginners to grasp. The language itself has only 14 keywords, and the environment is beginner friendly with a straight-forward interface.

Microsoft Small Basic was designed by Microsoft DevLabs and released as a Technology Preview in October 2008. Its intended audience is anyone looking to begin programming, including children and beginner adults as well.

Pretty cool program, I have never programmed and I am grasping some concepts, I reccommend this guy for your tutorials.

Wasn't sure if this was the right board, seemed the best one, sorry if this has been posted before, I checked multiple locations.

Does anyone else find this ironic that it's a basic version of BASIC?

yea, that's basic  :cookieMonster:

I'm surprised this got such a small amount of attention, I thought it was a great learning tool :/

I used it some.
Have to say, it was pretty easy to learn for a beginner.

LIES.

Q-Basic (and basic) were released in the mid 80's with DOS o:

I've made a rhythm-improving program in it, but I'm on my stuffty pc ritenao.

I was trying to use Basic to program a bot that uses infared lasers to detect color contrast (Black/White) to stay in a ring, and also follow objects.  It didnt work D:

I was very sad, because it was epic.

If basic is too hard for you, you are a dumbass.
