my friend did something like this. he gets calls form local areas for tech support on comps.

but i was totally pissed at him for calling himself an IT guy.
sure i has to earn a masters IT degree to earn that title. but i guess any starfish with a ripped off windows CD is a ladeda IT guy now.
*bisjac slaps his friend
I know various people who never done their leaving certificate and got into IT. c:
My dad is IT, actually..

I always thought Mack would be a nice guy for making some neat crafts with construction :I.

Well said.
I'd send my computer to mack then over a big business company because I'd save 50% of the cash and probably time.

Yeah, my dad didn't know stuff about computers 10 years ago. It's because of him I'm actually on the internet.

Don't start a business, work for one and move on up the corporate ladder!

You really picked a worthless degree, might as well have gotten a doctorate in philosophy. You should be more mad you chose to do all the schooling for it and not for people doing a 4 hour test to get a job in it.

On-topic: I repair computers for friends and family, if you go on Craig's List it's funny how many people are like "I fix your computer for $20-$50" and you can tell by how they talk they have no idea what they are really doing, every kid thinks he is a master of computers if he can reformat, run a virus scan, and click next 5 times to install windows.

Oh i tried doing this but the people around me are so computer illiterate it always comes down to

Is it plugged in
is it turned on
Restart it

Ok you're welcome.

Tom

With google anyone can become and IT expert.

It's what you do with a degree that makes it useful or useless, not getting the degree itself.

Eh whatever, you should start that business in a retirement area, and you will get tons of people sending in computers that just have unplugged keyboards.

that will be 450 dollars, please
