This does work... only with headphones. Earphones don't seem to work; I tried 2 pairs.

Conflabbin' kids.

I was doing this stuff back in '99!

But seriously, old news is old.

Didn't know it was old. :c

If you want a microphone so bad, why not just buy one?

I'm cheap.

Would it work with wireless headphones, because there is no other good use for them as they are utter crap.
But my laptop has built in mic, so I don't need it really. Just asking.

I dunno. I'm just using an old pair of wired headphones.

So an old memory I have of using a microphone as a speaker was true...

Interesting.

It figures because technically a microphone works the same as speakers, only reversed, or something like that.

No, because wireless headphones only have an RF receiver, not a transmitter.  It works with wired headphones because the wires allow electricity to flow both ways, since there are no circuits or diodes or anything.

I tried this with a single channel headset and it worked. Although the sound quality was stuff.

All I have to do is plug my headphones into my Microphone jack? WOWEE!
