I loved MS. I've played since the beta, all the way up to the 5th birthday. I've had a balls load of fun and I've met a ton of great people. The gameplay was fun and addicting. The bosses were hard. And the social enviorment was awesome. But as of 2 weeks ago, I uninstalled it from my PC. Some of you may be asking me why I have done such a crime. It is because Nexon has broken MS. When MS was first around, there were 4 classes. Warrior, Archer, Theif, and Mage. Each one had it's pros and cons, and each was balanced. When PQing, a player could almost join any party using any class. Warriors were for tanking, archers were for constant damage, theives were for quick damage, and mages either healed/buffed or dealt loads of damage. If you were bored with the standard classes, you could try making an unusual class. Some of these classes actually improved preformence (lukless/dexless) while others were purely for fun (permanent beginners and strength mages). Wizet then introduced the Pirate class. While it was basically a slightly stronger version of the theif, it really didn't effect the flow of the game. Then came the Cygnus Knights. Made for more casual players, these classes were always chosen above the default classes in PQs as they dealt more damage at lower levels. This meant that it was harder to play with older characters, making them useless. Then came the Aran class. With the new combo system, this class made the warrior class useless as well. Now we have that new dragon tamer class (which I never tried). But it seems to further upset the balance of the game. Either Nexon should release a "classic" version of MS with only the first 4 classes, or they should find a way to balance the existing game.
