Suggestion: surround the sitting guy with red bricks (It'll look like a blood pool)
Um, be careful with that effect. In my opinion, it can look tacky and silly if the plates are on top of their baseplate.
You don't get large thick bits of blood floating on top of floors.
If it's possible to build it into the floor, so it looks blood-soaked, that'd be better.
And if you do build the blood on top, for the love of god, do not use Undulo paint on it or Water FX.

Anyway, good luck with it all. It sounds very interesting and creative.

and it manifests itself in the form of default tree and ramp overusage

I don't know how to respond to this, but he's (Wiz is) correct, at the moment. The build lacks some serious bits that would establish a good playability, at the moment. The current build is also rather basic and lacks detail that will draw in players.

A quick read of the OP brings me to the conclusion that the build would have to be rather large or a good size. I don't see what you're aiming for here, but the basic playability of the map so far looks like either walking/driving around in wide open streets with no obstacles with AI running at you, which isn't that original. With this idea you could do so much more. Why drive directly from place to place with and escape when you could incorporate anything? Come on, be original. Anything you can think of you can add, be it a rooftop standoff between you and an army of frenzied scientist bots or crawling through a sewer to break into your own basement after your house collapsed. You can build anything, add anything to your map. I'm also not saying that the jeep or any other vehicles that you use should be entirely removed, but I think you should use them to your advantage to create something entirely new for players.

Tl;dr: Try and add more essentials for a good playability to the finished project. And get me again, I'm not saying it's horrible, I'm just saying that there's so much more you could add.

Luck.

Q: Okay whats makes this "SPECAIL"? Otherwise your just going to be wasting my trolling time.
A: Well mr troll. One of the "specail" features that i am 99.99% sure has never been made. It uses camera mode, so it can play flashbacks and visions. All it is, is a camera aimed at bots doing things.

Cue the picture:

"I don't know how to defend my opinion! Maybe if I dismiss this as one of those 'trolls' I have heard so much about, everything will be okay!"

"3 days later you come back on foot, because your car broke down."
Well anyways i like your idea and stuff but i want to keep it pretty much as what i stated.

Within 2 more 32x32 baseplates you enter a city. Guess what the brickcount is? 946

get out and stop trolling wizzeh you troll!

also, do you need robots AND zombies AND aliens? why not just make zombified alien robots to make everything less ridiculous (because zombified alien robots aren't ridiculous at all)

My builds. (RPG's, Campaigns, etc.)

Anyone who has played decent games and knows how to use camera events has done that.

Didn't you guys remember when I made that cave, and you look into a hole, and see a bug devouring this guy?

No?

The classic gas station, hah.

The build is boxy though :I make it more realistic.
You used the wrong form of "there".
I tend to do that.

Im keeping things like that until i start the city, then you get into some cool builds.
yeah, talk about classic. You see the glow paint i used? I put a event on the spawn so the S on the gas station flickers every 3 seconds. I might be able to release a beta test version. Ill finish up the first mission and if anyone wants to see what the beginning version is like you can download it.

Well Ill PM you the spoiler if you want but, (epic game spoiler.)You thought you could look at the spoiler and post it for everyone to see? Eh tink a gain!

HIGH QUALITY stuff RIGHT THERE!

WHO CARES ABOUT POOR ARCHITECTURE? WE HAVE FLICKERING SIGNS BITCHES.

Not trying to criticize or even express an opinion about the build itself, but...

I realized that the end of the world is popular basis for games. But the theme seems discouraging to me because it's the end of the world and, theoretically, everyone is supposed to die in the end because it's the apocalypse and therefore, so will you.

Plot wise, it seems like you're cheating death for the whole game for nothing.

Pardon the mini-rant, best of luck with this.
