Author Topic: Inception Discussion Thread (Pre-emptive spoiler warning)  (Read 1663 times)

Looked through the past few pages and didn't see a thread like this.
So I loved this movie and I consider it tied with Toy Story 3 as the best movie of the year.
The story was awesome and the effects were amazing and the acting was quite good as well.
Its not perfect but nothing is so I'd rate this movie a 9.5/10.

But onward to the discussion!

Why is it that so many people complain about the movie being too complicated.
I never understood this.
Everything was explained except for the ending but that's for the story bit.
Its like people calling Donnie Darko difficult. It's not, you just are too lazy to pay attention.

Talk about your opinions of the movie or discuss the possible outcomes of the ending or complain about how small your brain and/or attention span is and thus could not comprehend any of it.

:P

I love this movie so much.

Personally I don't think he got out.

I didn't see that one.

And in my opinion if he didn't get out he will.
The top either fell or kept spinning. Eventually he would have had to go back in that kitchen, and if it was still spinning he would have shot himself in the head right there (possibly, or just chosen to forget it and live with dream kids or whatever). If it wasn't, then yay.

I guess that kinda takes the magic out of the ending but eh.

Imagine Inception in 3D. Mind = explosion

Great movie. IT WAS ALL A loving DREAM

My friend also said he didn't like the movie because it was complicated. It loving wasn't. If you could wait until the second scene basically everything is explained to you

I think it kept spinning, I thought it would've begun to stutter. :c

I wanted to see this because Ellen Page is in it

I used to think she was a silly actor like Jim Carrey and couldn't pull off such a serious role but she did it well.

That 3D stuff is just a crappy gimmick that you can't see unless you move your head from side to side

Anyway, I'll hold off seeing this in the theaters because all the theaters in my area blast the bass to deafening levels. I'll just rent it on DVD when it comes out, that way I can control the volume and watch the "making of" thing after the movie.

Anyway, how is it?

What theatre are you going to?

What theatre are you going to?
I've seen the new 3D technology at Imax and the local theaters here, both were lame.

No, the top fell over but it could still be a dream because what was keeping the top going was the memory of his wife, who he let go of so it can fall over now

This movie

mind =  blown

Donnie Darko was about time travel and stuff.
I watched it once and understood it.
Then, I saw the second.
OnTopic: I want to see this :3
