Author Topic: Still need a scripter for a Walkie Talkie model...  (Read 9200 times)

EDIT: Added Bevel.

Well this is going to be my finial edit for this model for now. I'm going to call this edit V3, It's not much diffrent from the last edit. Made the speaker part more bigger to fit the surrounding space of where it is, added bevel since i forgot about it..., and added a pipe looking handle and that's about it. I couldn't really think of anything else but that, so if anyone has suggestions on what should be added, feel free to do so.

Note, still looking for a scripter

Way too high-poly.

It should not be smoothed like that.

lol ok, im laughing because i though that the beveling it out would be ok but how can i fix this "high poly"?

It's nice,It would be god for Military RP's and TDMs.

Download the minifig model (http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?noizywiluzd credit to DarkStar), load the walkie talkie and minifig, and see if it fits in the hands of the minifig. If it doesn't, press B, click and drag your mouse over the walkie talkey model, and size it down.
Or use these hands

Do i have to have the emepty hands on the model instead of the minifig hands? or their's no diffrene?

Alright, after some hours of modeling to my best efforts, i have made a completely new model of the Walkie Talkie (i really did put all my skill into this and also got lazy...). So, I'll call this version V2 of the Walkie Talkie. It should now fit into the hands of a blockhead, made it more realistic, and will probably add more detail to it when i get more time.

I'll put out a link to download when someone requests for one.

Nice how did you import the hands?

/teamchat

This is now pretty much pointless =/

Really nice model but i think that the handler is very smooth

Nice how did you import the hands?
To import another model into a project your on, you go to File->Append or Link (or Shft+F1) then you find a model you want to load. you can find the minifig model here for the hands -> http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?noizywiluzd

Really nice model but i think that the handler is very smooth
Now, i don't know how to make the handel more "flat shaded-like" But if someone can tell me how to make it that way I'll try it out.
