I need a new smartphone. my iPhone's battery won't hold a charge anymore, and now my mom's making me switch over to sprint.

what phone to get


I'm not sure. I'm not into phones, and I don't know much about them.

my TV says you should buy an HTC

Evo 4g.  Or better yet, none at all, you don't need one.

The guy in the corner of my room says get a Blackberry.

Yeah, you're probably right on the money. I hardly ever used my iPhone, and even less for the phone functions of it.
but my mom wants me to have one for emergencies and whatnot, so why not get a good one?

also the Evo 4G can share its interwebs with other devices which is REALLY attractive to me, because my primary use of iPhone was browsing the net when I had no internet.

however, you have to pay extra for evo because 4g, regardless of the fact there's not any 3g coverage near me, much less 4g.

Smartphones are expensive, and the service is even more expensive. Get a basic phone that's cheaper, holds a charger for longer than 6 hours, and more resilient to damage.
