Rattlesnake Killin'

Seems like my dad and I are going over to a friend's house to kill a rattlesnake they have been having a little problem with. We're most likely just going to either use:

1.) Rocks
2.) Wood
3.) BBGun

to kill it.

Any other legal, long-range, and overly-damaging weapons we can use would be great.
Discuss.

Also, when I say long-range, I mean to the point where the risk of being bitten is not run. :P

I've killed about 3 rattlers, and saw about 20... they never even tried to bite me.

You guys dont understand, chucking rocks at it and causing a horrible pain for the snake while it is slowly dieing is way more humane than letting it live
