Author Topic: Need help with my vehicle...  (Read 1279 times)

In mid 2008 i modeled a formula one car and got it to work in blockland. I also managed to make it paintable BUT i have the following problems:

1. the wheels sink into the floor
2. its almost impossible to drive as i cant script for s***.

I need some help with those two things. If i get them sorted when i release it ill credit you.

Heres a picture:

Tell me what you think.

Hmm.
Here's what.
It needs to have less curves, make it more like the standard Jeep.
Also, flatshade it.
Also also: I'll script it for you, if you want.
Also also also: I don't know how to package addons, so I can't do that.

EDIT: Also also also also: There's probably something wrong with the collision model for the wheels, but I'm no expert.

Whoa, that's a great model, even if teh wheels do sink.

But, sorry for posting even though I don't know the answer.

Too high poly for normal Blockland use.

This, and it has no Blocklandish look to it. The wheels should be separate, like Jeep tires. Blah.

SHII Paul is back dammit

anyway it's actually quite a good model, not for blockland styles but is it one of your first?

It my first and last. i dont have time to make stuff like this nowadays. i made this 2 years ago and never finished it :/

This model looks like it needs to be flatshaded, are you using Blender or MS3D?

WAY too high poly.

He said he can't script, if read the rest of his post.
