obviously nobody noticed it before, but now you actually have a modeler actively working on powerups

I would totally work on them if people gave me models when I ask for the,.
If Skip could model he would totally help but he sucks at everything. :/

It wasn't just the powerups.

So Bushi, wanna work on them then?

Spark Plugs - Lasts for 10-15 seconds, deals 20 or so damage in a range around you (not through walls) every two seconds with large particle effects

Frag Rounds - Minor radius damage on hit for normal projectiles (check Projectile::onExplode for the owner I think) - lasts for 20 rounds on standard weapons, 1 clip on any ammo-using weapons

Incredijuice (looks like this) - Light damage under about 20-30 is negated, but lasts longer than Invincicola

Mega Clip (looks like a giant Battle Rifle clip with huge numbers of bullets coming out the top so it's visible) - Weapon ammo (current gun or all in inventory) set to 999 for a limited time "Infinite Ammo" and then to the default once it runs out 10-15 sec

Parrying Sword - All damage dealt to you is 'retaliated' to the firer (you still get hurt, doesn't require any action from you like carrying it)

?? - Respawn once on the spot (a few seconds later) with full health and same weapons if killed during a certain time limit

?? - Automatic reflector on projectile type weapons e.g. rockets, grenades, bullets maybe but not sniper or pistol rounds. Invisible to opponents but with a large effect and sound when something is reflected.

?? - Knockback is reduced or negated (25+ seconds)

I was thinking of more generic, basic things.
Give it a default feel, like the default add-ons.

Just giving out loads of ideas so you can pick some.

Energy shield-Takes energy to make a circular 360 shield where you cant move.Maybe regenerates alittle health

How about, instead of a scout cap, you have a power up which is basically two running shoes.
Upon using them, your character's feet joints light up or something and you run much faster, but your health is reduced by -10 each 3 seconds in using the item. You can also ram into people, dealing 50 damage to you and the victim. And the blowback of the ram can kill the victim.

These aren't items that you take around with you and use at a later time, I believe.

Hero mode Chaingun
-Picking up this power up makes you use a top-down playertype for a short period of time
-During which you hold the chaingun. The chaingun has very little windup, does not effect speed, and is a clear indicator that someone is in hero mode.


Switch
-Picking up this powerup mounts a blinking light to your head, and to one random other person's head.
-After a certain amount of time, you both switch places and the light fades.

Reflector
-Projectiles that hit you bounce off for a short period of time.
-Melee weapons and splash damage still get you.

Brick landslide
-many bricks are placed in the area around you randomly when you take this pickup
-After some time, the bricks fade and disappear.

I was thinking more like:

Double Damage
-hurrrrduer
-Lasts 8 seconds

Wings
-Double jump height.
-Lasts 15 seconds

Your reflector idea works nice.
-About 6-7 seconds.

Super Armor
-Impulses and tumbles do not affect you.
-Lasts 10 seconds

Shield
-Takes 350 damage.
-Lasts 15 seconds


Super mushroom?
Mini mushroom?
