I'm running Windows 7 Professional x64-bit and i don't got any problems. Try clearing your registry for errors. This is just a guess.

I run Windows 7 Home Premuim 32-bit, and I have no problems at all.  Try putting it in a directory like C:/[User]/SavedGames/Blockland.
