Unzipped maps.

i noticed that in my add on folder were some unzipped map file which has the map name and a random # sequence tagged on to it. What are those and do i need them.

i noticed that in my add on folder were some unzipped map file which has the map name and a random # sequence tagged on to it. What are those and do i need them.

Those are downloaded when you join a server with a map you don't have. Without them, it'll simply make you redownload them if you ever join a server with that map, again.
