Food.Because if you buy food with your own money, only you are allowed to eat it.
I have a job, not an allowance.
On the topic of the value of money:My parents claim they're poor so they can't buy me anything but food and stuff, but they've bought three HD TVs, a Blu-Ray system, and three iPhones in the past few months. :v
This. I should buy myself 2 bottles of soda and a large bag if chips that I wouldn't have to share. But first I need a job...
I haven't ever gotten allowance. :cAlthough, I have had the privlegde to work around the house for my parents, they are are willing to pay me for some of that work. Last night I cut down a punch of these plants growing along our back yard and I made $15 for about an hours worth of work.
I never got an allowance. :c$100 goes a long way if you know where to spend it. c:
but kids dont know where to spend it.
I never got allowance ever cause my mom couldn't afford it. Looking back, I'm happy she didn't. You learn the value of money when it's not handed to you, so you don't take it for granted.
They can't buy you anything, dear. Stuff for themselves is a different story.
That's at least nine bucks lol
