Author Topic: Dexters lab = Most politically correct cartoon in history?  (Read 6984 times)

Think about it. From what I've seen, I think it takes place in the late 60's, despite Dexter's technology and the occasinal Videogame. Dexter's dad wears a suit, has hairy arms, and has the suit, hat, and briefcase setup of a steriotypical dad of the 50's, and the mother

omelette du fromage!

Dexter has an accent that's origins aren't commonly known and everyone else sounds completely American. This leads us to believe that Dexter is adopted. But how could he be adopted when there was an episode that included Dexter's birth in it. So this leads us to believe that Dexter's Mom had love with another man to have Dexter.

forget you oromis I just saw a part of my childhood shatter. :(

You have to wonder, did the whole neighborhood give Dexter their property so he could build this gargantuan underground laboratory? What was he funded with, their rent? And also, his lab (according to one episode in which he gets lost in the dark, ancient recesses of his laboratory) is so large it might as well have its own zip code. And another thing, how did American parents give birth to an American girl and a German boy? Was Dexter adopted?

Oh forget, who cares. It's a whoop-ass show.

The one about him being born and everyone sung was a good one

But the best one is where he had a piano instructor!

The show died after the artists stopped drawing on paper and instead used flash.

The show died after it got converted to flash.
It got converted to flash? :o

Stopped hand animating and started computer generating.

A fate worse than death for any cartoon.
