I really need a something like a pine tree I suck at those
regular tree brick is a pine tree

regular tree brick is a pine tree

Because that brick is totally detailed and realistic.

I dislike this idea. People should be able to learn on their own and have their own unique design, rather then without any work, just read an article about how to build something good.

I agree.

I completely agree.  I like to follow guides exactly, so in other words I'm not very creative.  However, if I had read something like a guide, I would have never build any of my hotels and whatnot. (Even though they may not be the best things ever...)

Or you could just be creative.

I've been playing this game for a damn long time, and I've seen the following happen: every time someone comes up with a sweet idea, people take that idea, and recreate it with their own unique spin on things.  I remember when people never built houses with tiled floors, or when the first (somewhat iconic) barstool was made.  These are sort of standard features these days.  Or different arch patterns for cathedral windows.

All I'm trying to say is that everyone's stolen something, or seen something on a server and given their own take on the idea.  I'm no different, and if you play multiplayer you can't be much different either; it's hard to help doing it.  I don't think anyone's aiming for this to be some kind of building rubric, and I don't think anyone could make one even if they wanted to.  But a compendium of good ideas, well, that sounds like a pretty good idea to me.

I love this idea! Here’s some of the ways that I build stuff.

Will upload more as I produce it, so look later into the topic, as I may have posted more stuff =)

Couch is crap, but everything else is good, and I'm really digging that coffee machine.

All I want to know is how to build a good Block Penguin.

Your wish is my command:

Simple. Two 2x2s on top of each other. Put a 2x4 plate on top, and add two 1x2s  to the sides for arms/flaps/wings. Then just slap on a 1x2 and a 2x2 ramp to the 2x4 plate, and add a 2x2 plate for the top. Penguin! Though, I can't take credit, since I found this in old-ass LEGO Freestyle bin idea booklet several years ago. I used to have an army of these in real life! MUAHAHAHAH!

I'm sure you could make a better penguin, also bump
